Heatherton Christian College is a high quality, contemporary Christian school where we seek to honour God in all we do.

Heatherton is a unique school, something that you will notice and see when you have a tour or interact with the families that make up our community.

• It is unique in its culture – we are a working, Christian community who is focused on providing an authentic and dynamic Christian learning environment.
• It is unique in its size – we are small enough to know and care for your child as an individual, yet big enough to provide a broad curriculum from Prep to VCE, a wide range of experiences and a quality learning environment.
• And it is unique in its sense of community and care – positive relationships, respect and genuine care are fostered across all levels of the school.

As a school, it is our aim for all of the students entrusted to us to come to faith in Jesus Christ and be secure in Him, to develop academic and life skills needed for a fruitful and meaningful life, and to grow in their capacity to show leadership and care for others, for themselves and for God’s creation. In doing so, we want our students to live as an increasingly Godly influence in the world around them.

Our strategic curricular and extra-curricular programs are all in line with our, “Five foundations of a whole, healthy, Heatherton child” (which is based on Mark 12:28–30). The experiences at Heatherton will provide opportunities for your child to grow spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially and physically and will allow them to identify, develop and use their God-given passions and talents for the benefit of others.

I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the Heatherton community for the past 13 years and have been part of the team of passionate, committed and talented staff who have sown God’s love and wisdom into the lives of many children.
