….”exceeded our expectations”
When looking for a school for our first son, we wanted a place where he would be looked after well and where our values as Christians would be respected. We also hoped to find a school that would support his academic interests and enthusiasm to learn. Within a few days of our son starting school, I was very impressed to find that all the Primary staff knew my child by name, and that they were all helping my rather teary “preppie” to settle into school life. After 18 months at the school we are still delighted with our decision to enrol at HCC, and it has far exceeded our initial expectations. Our son is happy at school, has made some great friends, and is growing both academically and in his faith.
The best surprise for us, though, was being welcomed into the HCC family so warmly, and my younger child and I really enjoy staying for morning assembly to share in some great times of worship and fellowship. It’s a great start to the day for everyone!”

….”I started at Heatherton this year and so far it is the best school I have been to! The students and teachers help me out in my work and with finding new friends. I love this school and am happy I chose it.”

….”Our family emigrated to Australia from the UK and we were determined that our children attend a Christian school. We looked at a few different Christian schools and Heatherton stood out as being a very vibrant place, with students that were obviously enjoying themselves! A year later I started as a part- time secretary in the college office. I have never been at a happier stage in my life than where I am now and feel incredibly blessed to be working in such a fantastic atmosphere.
We would not hesitate in recommending this college to anybody who is considering their child’s future education. The Principal, teaching and admin staff are truly dedicated to the children; not just their academic needs but spiritually as well – they have their best interests at heart.
We have every intention to keep our children at Heatherton until they finish Year 12; we have faith in the teachers’ abilities to carry them through their VCEs – they are all exceptionally qualified and, although the academia is important to us, we feel that it is imperative that our children enjoy their school experience and finish it as Godly young people, confident in their abilities; whatever they may be.”
