Our Library

To search the Christway College library catalogue click here.

You cannot check availability or check materials in or out, but you can see if we carry a particular title or something on a subject you are interested in or material by a specific author.

Reading is a superb way of aiding your child’s academic and emotional development. What your child reads influences their reactions to life’s challenges.

The Christway College library provides a growing resource of reading and audio-visual material selected to support the ethos and beliefs of our college. It is the intention to focus resources initially on material not usually available from local libraries and which encourages our students to grow in the ‘grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ”. As the College grows, so will our collection!

Primary Library at Christway

It is recommended that all Primary students have a suitable bookbag to safely transport their library books within their school bag. This can be simple cloth bag.

Secondary Library at Christway

The secondary library is intended as a place of quiet study, reflection and relaxation.  In addition to our considerable collection of contemporary and classic Christian fiction, biography and non-fiction the students can browse current magazines and share card and board games.  There is a growing careers/tertiary education section managed by the Secondary careers advisor.  The library is available to secondary students during lunchtime and recess at advertised times.

Borrowing limits:

Each student may borrow up to five books for a period of three weeks.
